Cultural organiser, independent curator and essayist. Involved for over 20 years in amateur films, family films, documentaries, experimental films and how they overlap. Joint curator of training courses on how to re-purpose family films, Reframing Home Movies, and Co-founder of the association of the same name. Member of the Pesaro Film Festival Scientific Committee. Has devised and curated sections and programmes, including the recent e-book “Open Access Cinema. Ripensare la curatela cinematografica nello spazio digitale” (Rethinking Film Curation in a Digital Context). Responsible for the audiovisual collections and libraries at the University of Milan CTU – Teaching and Learning Innovation and Multimedia Technology Centre – dedicated to non-fiction cinema. Member of the Executive Committee of the Italian Video and Media Archive Association (AVI), in particular innovative models for managing and using audiovisual materials in libraries and media archives.
